Hi, I'm Mary! My love for photography started when I was in 8th grade. I had a crummy little camera and started out taking creative self-portraits. I love creating scenes and transforming myself into someone else. It reminds me of playing dress up when you're little, and I am a nostalgic person. I also have a love for fantasy and sci-fic, so I try to incorporate that into some of my shoots.
I now focus less on self-portraits and more on portraits of others. I love bright colors and details. My process starts with sketches and light/strobe planning, then putting props and outfits together. During the shoot I provide guidance if needed. Afterwards I do extensive editing. I enjoy editing just as much as I enjoy shooting. I am excited for whatever new shoots are to come, so let's create something amazing!
